Island belief
Lesser islands watch the temples nearby and believe a little in each one. An island that belongs to nobody and reaches 100 passes on its own to the temple it believes in.
Since v20.
How to make an island believe
A lesser island watches the temples it has nearby, 6 cells or less from their territory. Every second it believes a little more in each one: for the temple close by, for the houses it sees, for the Veiled passing by, for a Collector at work. A miracle cast close by is a prodigy: 25 belief in one go. A prayer you answer also makes it believe. The label above the island says who it believes in most and how much: “believes in you 64”, or “believes in the enemy 64” in the enemy’s color.
When it passes to you
At 100 an island that belongs to nobody becomes yours without a bridge. Its rock holds up on its own and its landings are yours: your bridges start from there. It can hold Collectors and Steles; towers go there once a bridge links it to the temple, and only then do the Veiled go and get the wind of its spring. If the belief drops below 40 and no bridge links it, the island goes back to the sky.
On the route
On the Route of the Winds islands believe from world 14, Olmafonda.
Guardian God and Storm God
A Guardian God makes islands believe more through care (Veiled and Collectors), a Storm God through prodigies, because the islands fear it.
Why
On the lesser islands live people who have no temple. They watch the temples nearby and choose whom to follow; their prayer keeps the island still. But those who pray don’t fight. See The story of Aeolia.

What’s new
- v20 Island belief: the nearby lesser islands watch your temple and believe in you a little. Houses, passing Veiled, working Collectors and miracles make them believe. At 100, an island that belongs to nobody becomes yours without a bridge.
- v20 On the Route of the Winds there’s no belief, no prayers and no villages: the route teaches one thing at a time.
- v20 The label above an island says who it believes in: “believes in you 64” or “believes in the enemy 64”. At the end of the match the labels disappear, and the table counts houses, islands won by belief and prayers granted.
