Character of the God

What kind of God you are depends on how you treat those who don’t fight. Whoever repairs and protects is a Guardian God, whoever kills Veiled and breaks houses is a Storm God.

Since v20.

How it changes

The game keeps two counts: care and harm. Care is repairing, healing with Lanterns (see Flyers and nests), raising rock with the Stone Cloud or the Dawn Bridge, an island that passes to you because it believes in you, an answered prayer from Volana, Nembra or Lucerno. Harm is an enemy Veiled killed, an enemy house hit, the Landslide, the Current, an answered prayer from Saetto. Hitting towers, bridges and temples is war, and both sides wage it: it doesn’t count. Care and harm make a single number, from -100 to 100: care raises it, harm lowers it. From 40 up you are a Guardian God, from -40 down a Storm God, in between a young God. You see it in the line under the faith; tap it to read what it means. The enemy’s character is written above its temple.

What changes

  • Guardian God: Stone Cloud and Dawn Bridge cost a quarter less, care makes islands believe more, the village grows sooner and great houses repair the temple twice as much.
  • Storm God: Landslide and Current cost a quarter less, prodigies make islands believe twice as much, houses have walls and hold up better.

Why

At Crowstone the spirit of the temple becomes a young God, and what kind of God it will be depends on its choices: one who repairs like Lucerno or one who strikes like Saetto. See Lucerno and Saetto.
