Study of the elements
Whoever carries a Keeper to their altar in a four-player match studies an element of the fallen side and can place its study building.
Since v17.1.
What you learn
When a Keeper turns to light on your altar in a Four-player match, you study the element the fallen side had the most buildings of (on a tie, the order is Wind, Lightning, Rain, Sun). At most 2 studies per match. From that moment, in that element’s group an extra card appears: its study building. You can place it even without a spring of that element, in any light of your temple or of one of your Steles.
- Wind: Arch of High Winds.
- Lightning: Thunder Well.
- Rain: Cistern.
- Sun: Twin Mirror.

What’s new
- v20 The end of a four-player match has the same lines as a two-player one. “Out at minute” and “Studies” only appear with four players, and only if someone was knocked out or studied an element.
- v17.1 Element study: whoever offers a Keeper studies the element the fallen side built with most, and can place its study building, even without that spring: Arch of High Winds, Thunder Well, Cistern, Twin Mirror.
