Deluge
The Rain’s special. In 10 s it brings down the uncovered enemy bridges in the area and slows their towers.
How to use it
Tap the Deluge button, then the area. It reaches up to 9.75 cells and covers a circle with a radius of 3.75 cells for 10 s. Every uncovered enemy bridge cell loses 7 health per second: a bridge with 60 falls before the end. A cell with a building on it holds out. Enemy towers in the area reload more slowly: their time runs at ×0.6. Under Rain and in Fog the area grows. It needs two Rain lights that cross.
Strengths and weaknesses
Strong
- It cuts a long bridge. Towers don’t: see Bridges and landings.
- A cut bridge shuts down everything beyond it: see Decay and Take down.
Weak
- Slow: your opponent sees the rain and can link up again.
- Against a bridge covered with buildings it does little.
Counter
Keep two roads to the important islands. A Light Shield nearby repairs the bridges while it rains.
Relations
Generated from the game’s tables and from how the computer plays.
- Slows: Gust Tower, Lightning Pylon, Hail Mortar, Burning Mirror, Arch of High Winds, Twin Mirror.
- Knocks down: Bridges and landings.

What’s new
- v22 Towers don’t break bridges anymore. A shot on a bridge hurts whoever is on it, but the plank holds. A bridge now falls in just three ways: cut off from the temple for a while, hit by the sky (the Gust on the tips, storm lightning, Saetto’s Wrath), or hit by the powers made for it: Thunderstorm, Deluge, Cistern, Landslide and the Blaze weave. The Landslide now also drags down nearby enemy planks.
