Arch of High Winds
The Wind’s study building. A cross tower: its shots go straight and pass over Walls.
Since v17.1.
How to use it
You can build it only after studying the Wind: in a Four-player match bring to your altar the Keeper of a side that built mostly with Wind. See Study of the elements. It costs 60 and goes in any light of your temple or of one of your Steles, even if you don’t have a Wind spring. It shoots like a Gust Tower, 13 damage every 1.4 s up to 7.8 cells, but the shot passes over Cloud Walls.
Strengths and weaknesses
Strong
- Walls don’t stop it.
Weak
- Like the Gust it’s a cross tower: it shoots only along its row and its column.
Counter
Stay off its row and its column. The Hail Mortar hits it from far away, over the defenses.

What’s new
- v22 Towers come in two families. Cross towers shoot far, but only straight along their row and column: Gust Tower, Hail Mortar, Arch of High Winds. Circle towers shoot all around, but short: Lightning Pylon, Burning Mirror, Twin Mirror.
- v17.1 Element study: whoever offers a Keeper studies the element the fallen side built with most, and can place its study building, even without that spring: Arch of High Winds, Thunder Well, Cistern, Twin Mirror.
