Element

Rain

Arcing shots that fly over Walls, a defense that weakens enemy towers, a special that brings bridges down.

How it plays

Rain hits over obstacles. The Hail Mortar is a cross tower: it deals the highest damage per shot, shoots the farthest of all along its row and its column, and Walls don’t stop it. The Mist takes damage away from every nearby enemy tower. The Deluge cuts bridges, something no tower does. Its limit is slowness: the Mortar reloads slowly, can’t hit up close, and the Gust makes it miss half its shots.

When to choose it

  • Against someone who shuts themselves in behind Walls.
  • Against Pylons, which can’t reach where the Mortar reaches.
  • Under Rain and in Fog.

In the story

It’s the element of Nembra, the slow goddess who counts time in seasons. See The story of Aeolia.
