Lightning
Short discharges that jump from one target to the next, a defense that soaks them up, a special that rains lightning.
How it plays
Lightning works up close. The Lightning Pylon is a circle tower: it hits everything around it, Walls don’t stop it and it hits several targets at once. The Lightning Rod soaks up enemy lightning and charges your Pylons. Its limit is range: whoever hits it from far away gets no answer.
When to choose it
- To hold a contested bridge tip, where the enemy has to come close.
- Against Mortars: a Pylon inside their minimum distance hits them with no answer.
- In a Storm, which makes it stronger.
In the story
It’s the element of Saetto, the impatient God who loves whoever challenges him. See The story of Aeolia.
