Cistern
The Rain’s study building. A small Deluge that recharges in half the time and needs only one light.
Since v17.1.
How to use it
You can build it only after studying the Rain (see Study of the elements). It costs 50. Unlike the specials, one light is enough, from the temple or from any Stele. You cast it like the Deluge, up to 7.5 cells: for 8 s it brings down the uncovered enemy bridges in a circle of 2.63 cells and slows their towers. It recharges in 21 s.
Strengths and weaknesses
Strong
- It recharges fast and can be placed almost anywhere.
Weak
- Its circle is smaller than the Deluge’s.
Counter
A building on the bridge keeps it standing. Destroy the Cistern before it recharges.

What’s new
- v22 Towers don’t break bridges anymore. A shot on a bridge hurts whoever is on it, but the plank holds. A bridge now falls in just three ways: cut off from the temple for a while, hit by the sky (the Gust on the tips, storm lightning, Saetto’s Wrath), or hit by the powers made for it: Thunderstorm, Deluge, Cistern, Landslide and the Blaze weave. The Landslide now also drags down nearby enemy planks.
- v17.1 Element study: whoever offers a Keeper studies the element the fallen side built with most, and can place its study building, even without that spring: Arch of High Winds, Thunder Well, Cistern, Twin Mirror.
