First Flight
For learning. The enemy is slow, uses a single element and announces its attack well ahead of time.
What to expect
The computer decides every 9 s, makes at most 5 moves per minute and doesn’t attack before minute 20:00. It leaves the central island alone until minute 20:00. Minutes go by between one attack and the next. It announces the target 12 s ahead and gets one move in two wrong. It never hits your Keeper and it spares the bridges your Veiled walk on.
The help you get
- You start with ×1.5 the wind.
- The enemy temple has 50% of its health.
- The Late hours come at minute 17:00, and on your temple 300 s later.
- The computer waits while the tutorial explains your first moves.
How to win
Follow First match: two Collectors, a few towers, a bridge toward the enemy temple. Even if you don’t attack, the late hours bring down its temple before yours.
On the Route of the Winds
Worlds 1 (Albena), 2 (Marina), 3 (Seriso) are played at this level. The Route of the Winds.

What’s new
- v22.2 At the end of “Learn to play” the main button is “Start the campaign”: it takes you to the prologue of the Route of the Winds and to Albena, the first world, with the cards the campaign hasn’t opened yet turned off. Before, it started a free match on First Flight, on a random world.
- v22 The computer makes fewer moves: each level has a limit of actions per minute, from 5 (First Flight) to 16 (Tempest). On the first levels it leaves the central island alone for many minutes and attacks later.
- v17 Late hours: an hourglass replaces the symbol of the temple that is wearing down. On First Flight and Breeze, the message also says when yours begins. If a temple collapses because of the late hours, the message says so.
- v16 The computer uses miracles from Wind up; Breeze only Stone Cloud and Dawn Bridge; First Flight none. The Bare Hands Omen also bans miracles.
- v13 The Route of the Winds: twelve worlds to win one after another. You start on First Flight and end on Tempest, with world rules that get tougher and tougher. Each world you win opens the next one.
- v12 Five levels, from First Flight to Tempest. On the first levels the enemy marks the target of its attack in advance. After two wins in a row the game suggests the level above, after three losses the one below.
- v12 On First Flight and Breeze the enemy temple is smaller and the late hours hit it before yours. On First Flight you also start with more wind.
