World of the Day

The same world for everyone, changing every day.

How it works

The world of the day is born from the date: a Medium world, with a random theme and symmetry, sometimes with a world rule. The day changes at midnight universal time. You open it from the main menu.

Since v15: the leaderboard

The button opens a page with today’s world, the top 100 on the leaderboard and yesterday’s results. You play against Gale, without Omens. A win goes on the leaderboard by itself: the game checks the match again and records the time, and the fastest wins. You can send 5 matches a day. If there’s no connection, the win is kept aside and goes out the next time you open the World of the Day. When the leaderboards are off the game says so: “Leaderboards are paused for now”.

What’s new

  • v23.4 The account, leaderboard, World of the Day and world editor screens follow it too.
  • v21 Towers can’t see Cirro, and Cirro can’t die. In ranked matches and in the World of the Day he plays like a young Cirro, the same for everyone. Online, between friends, everyone brings their own.

  • v15 Below is a short list: The Route of the Winds, Online match, World of the Day, Saved matches. “Matches on hold” only shows up when you have some. Feats, Replays and Settings are icons at the bottom.
  • v12 World of the Day: the same world for everyone, a new one every day.
